Why is Maggie Blye discarded halfway through the movie?

Seems strange that Maggie Blye's charachter is not seen after the early parts of the movie...She's hot and loved her in Hombre too

reply

Yeah, I thought she was supposed to be there as one of the 3 emergency drivers, but I don't think you see her in the end at all.🐭

reply

There were no emergency drivers when they carried out the robbery in the end, because the mafia wrecked the three emergency cars. But it was still a bit strange that she, Benny Hill and the mafia all disappear all of a sudden.

reply

Yes, I know the emergency cars were wrecked. I just expected to see her on the bus at the end, but she just seems to disappear. 🐭

Charlie put her on a plane to Geneva when the gold arrived at the airport, his reason was he did not want her to be in danger now the mafia were onto them. They crashed the bus in the alps on the way to Geneva.

reply

After the getaway cars are destroyed by the mafia, she is an unnecessary liability so Charlie puts her on a flight to Geneva. This is the scene where he specifically tells her not to look to the right or to the left when walking to the plane, but then to his dismay she starts waving and yelling her love for him RIP
Maggie Blye.
