it's a love affair

between the camera and jenny agutter.
everything else is secondary.

She's always been mighty easy on the eyes, when she started out, at present, and all points in between. 17 in this one, and at 55 in Irina Palm (she's the reason I watched that, though she was barely in it). She still looked damn good.

1. Nicely put seekermatt, agree totally, which is probably why it's been in the back of my mind these 40 years! Though even the "secondary" still makes it a neat little movie.

2. Also agree Backlot. Except this was released in 1969, so probably filmed in the summer of '68, making JA 15 not 17. Wouldn't be allowed now would it, underage girl, erotic undertones, flashes of panties, shock horror...

3. Question: I'd always remembered this as being set in Stevenage, not Bracknell. Only realised it wasn't on catching up with it again recently. Can anyone help me with the title of a movie that WAS filmed in Stevenage c.1970, or was I imagining it?

Q3 solved on another thread, looks like Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush.

that's the problem with the film, The book i start Counting is a gripping and exciting story of suspense, with well rounded characters and lots of excellent dialogue. the film is just a soft focus drool over jenny Agutter, with all the subtlety of a cadburys Chocolate Flake ad.
