The First On Screen Reveal Of The Xia-Culture

There's always been fantasies in Chinese's mind, the Xia culture.
It's all about doing the righteous and helpful things to normal people,
against the evil ones. One thing in commen is that thay all have the best Kung-fu, which makes the stories more story-like :)

What?

Yeah, that's why I think the Xia is the most nobel of characters from any genre. More nobal than even the Jedi, from which the Jedi was clearly based.

How about some samurais? Just watch Seppuku or Samurai Rebellion.

No way. samurai just simply means warrior, and so the art of killing becaame fetishized over a millenium of insular development.

That is incorrect. Samurai means: "the one who serves". Bushi means warrior.

The first Wu Xia (Wuxia) film was made in 1969 - Bao Biao (Have Sword, Will Travel) by the Shaw Brothers, in this movie they are flying around and the fights are epic, badass and very gory.
