I was expecting the movie to eventually reveal what was going on there, but... it didn't.
I mean, what was that scene all about? Was there just some guy hanging out at the house having an orgasm?

It didn't make any sense to me and probably doesn't have a meaning. I just took it to be Richard trapped in there, like when he was little. Who knows...

It was Richard - for some reason he kept going back to the house and reliving his nightmarish ordeal from childhood.
