End? DVR cut off...

Can anyone fill us in on the very end? Our DVR cut off before it completely finished.

We saw up until the cops pulled up at the house and the killer ran out. What happened next???

Same here, ours' did too -- c'mon people, what happens after he runs outside??

reply

You only missed the last 30 seconds or so by the sound of it. When the killer comes out of the house he starts to run away, the picture fades and then a few seconds later the end credits begin to roll.

reply

Okay, thank you.

Sounds like the ending was as dull as the rest of the pic!!!

Ha ha! We sat through this mess only to discover that the last few minutes were cut off, too.

Yeah that's the rather limp ending.

Ouch, getting stabbed in the crotch would make anyone limp!

Actually the bigger issue here is - what to do about DVR cutoffs? It's particularly bad on IFC, largely because the intro and promos for their other shows drag on and on and ON... but TCM isn't immune, I lost the last two minutes of Lynch's Blue Velvet the other week and I've taken to setting the DVR manually to allow 10 mins either side of (scheduled) start and finish time, but then I find myself with a long list of recordings saved by date-and-time-recorded only, not by title. All very frustrating. Also, Time Warner cable seem to rely on imdb for their scheduled movie runtimes, but frequently are looking at the wrong movie, although the title may be the same; a recent example being the early Brit noir End of the Line.

Strangely enough, I'm here because the DVR cut off the last 11 minutes (Comet TV).
