most psychotic movie

This is the most psychotic movie that I've ever seen. I've never been so traumatized. I still can't get over what I just watched.

The violence certainly is shocking, and graphically realistic. I've seen it a few times, and I remember how disturbed I felt the first time viewing it. It starts out so slow, and almost laughable -- but no one will be laughing during the last ten minutes.

To a new world of gods and monsters!

I've seen more shocking films no doubt, but the mundane presentation of such brutality in this film IS very chilling. Great acting too. I'm surprised this film isn't more well-remembered; it has a lot more in common with European films of the era than it does American cinema I think.
