Hint on 2001: A Space Odyssey (a bit of a SPOILER btw)

Hi all.
Did someone notice the slight hint on Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0062622/ in the pre-final part of this film?
I mean the moment when Hubert reveals the truth to Paul talking about speeds of planes (probably meaning Concorde) and triumphing with the fact that Men travel to Moon humming the famous Blue Danube Waltz.
Since Hibernatus was filmed only a year after "2001" I think this hint is not coincidental...
