Danny Loclin (Barnaby) in the "Dancing" number

Danny Lockin did some amazingly athletic dancing in the "Dancing" number, especially once everyone got to the park. Hopping over the bicycle multiple times, doing cartwheels and back flips, and in almost the entire scene. Both Barbra Streisand and Michael Crawford were only on camera for short bits. His enthusiasm really lifted the whole thing, which I feel was the most coherent and successful dance number in the film.

He was a talented young man lost much too early.

If you want to SEE the film's choreography, just keep your eyes on Danny Lockin. He's especially good in "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and "Dancing."

I had no knowledge of Danny's brutal death until I saw Dolly again on Fox Classics recently and wondered "whatever happened to" this amazingly athletic dancer; one of the best I've seen. It was quite a shock, but clearly his death received more coverage in the US than it did in Australia. Incredibly sad. Such talent.
