'20th Century Fox Video' released HARD CONTRACT on a PAL-format VHS tape in both England and Australia in 1982. But only the 1 time; it was not re-issued again in either country like so many other movies are. (Think of how many times 'JAWS' has been re-released/re-printed in various video [and now DVD] editions).
I have PAL tapes of 'HARD CONTRACT' from both countries. This movie is not for every taste, to be sure.
