WINNER's BEST ?

This one ranks amongst my all time favourites. It has to be Michael WINNERS best film but has failed to make it to DVD as yet. I recently read his biography where he recalls the filming. He was impressed by the way the Austrian villagers were so friendly and how each village they filmed in tried to outdo the last. He also recalls how facinated the locals were when the actors and extras turned up in their German uniforms and vehicles with a lot of them asking if they could pose for photos. One thing that amazed me was the fact that they only had one stuntman for the film who hadn't really done any stunts before ! If anyone out there has any idea when this film will land as a reigon 2 dvd please share your info.
