I laugh every time I hear a certain sound in this movie

It's a guitar twang. Doiiing! Just makes me giggle. :)

It was used in some comedy, the title escapes me. That ping sound. Hilarious.

My sig? A milestone! Landmark! A masterpiece! I laughed, I cried!

If it's the sound I am thing of...it sounds like someone is plucking a nose hair in a Ren & Stimpy cartoon. Am I right? LOL!

I believe it was used as well in the Beach Blanket Bingo movies for the Eric Von Zipper character, always to denote a sense of ill timing and lack of decorum and ability. Very effective. Very funny. Kind of a less obtrusive fart sound.

That doiiing sound has stayed with me since I saw it in the theater when I was 8.

It's the sound from a "Tom and Jerry" cartoon from the mid 50's. The one where Jerry's guitar playin' uncle comes into town... His guitar strings always break and he plucks Tom's whiskers to use as new ones. The plucking sound is what was in this movie.

Here's a link... Times of sound 0:44, 1:11, 1:54 and 2:43.... the sound when his guitar string breaks is very similar as well.

I have sung "Crambo" while walking in the halls at work and had others join in!!

"Oh, Froggie went a'courtin', he did ride, Crambo!"
"Come here, Cat! You know I can't play without a guitar String"!

The actor doing the voice over guested on several episodes of the Beverly Hillbillies late 1960s.
