TCM ran a Etaix festival on April 19, '13. Why this genius filmmaker is unknown in the US and why his films haven't been shown here is an annoying mystery. Imagine a collaboration of Jerry Lewis and Etaix in their prime during the 60s.

Just watched Le Grande Amour on TCM today and was charmed and delighted. I had never heard of this man either. What an original light touch he has! Hopefully there will be more of his films to follow. God Bless TCM!
