I recently bought the DVD because I am a Robert Mitchum fan, and I remembered the film from back then. I was surprised that the film does not credit actors with distinct speaking parts, and not much is added on IMDb. For instance, the boy Billy at the rooming house where Robert Mitchum stays has two significant scenes but isn't credited anywhere. His face is familiar but I cannot add a name - can anyone help, please?

I worked out some time back that the boy was Bobby Riha, but I couldn't be bothered to tell IMDb because of their convoluted procedure. Anyway, in the meantime someone has updated the entry and included a lot of other actors who were not listed in the original credits. Incidentally, when this film was made, Jay North would have been around 28 years old.

Sorry, I was having a bad maths moment (just looking at my income tax forms too!) - Jay North was born in 1951 so he would have been around 18 when this film was made.

It says that Stuart Lee has an uncredited role as someone named Harold in this movie.
It also lists him as playing "neighbor boy" in the Red Skelton show in 1970, "boy" in Nanny and the Professor in 1970, and Dr, Michael William "Mike" Horton in Days of our Lives in 1973. That seems like a rather inconsistent age range and it is possible that IMDB mixes up two separate actors.
So does anyone remember the character of Harold in The Good Guys and the Bad Guys and can say whether he is an adult or a child character?
