Is Godzilla real in this movie or not ?

I was just wondering. In the movie it seems as though Godzilla is only in the dream of the boy until the scene where he pulls his toy radio out of the closet and I see a Godzilla toy in there. Someone please help!?

Is Gojira real in any movie?

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

I always got the impression that for the purposes of the story, Godzilla is a fictional character within the film, meaning that the film's characters see him as a fictional character.

Ishiro Honda left it purposely vague in that regard so the viewer could decide for themselves.

I think the kid was just day dreaming about meeting the real Godzilla and Minya, whom are on this Monster Island.

This is not the film Mr. Honda should have decided to make artistically vague.
Or artistically anything.
Or have directed.
Or made by anyone.

Trust me they weren't thinking that much when they made this, if there was any thinking involved at all. Don't interpret into it.

I think Godzilla was just imaginary in this film.

Godzilla is real in the movie, just the boy dreams about meeting him, the end quote when the reporters were interviewing the kid and the old man they talk about Godzilla and his son
how they live on the island.
Write it, Print it, and film it already! there is much work to be done.
