Version with the Full Gyaos Fight Scene

What version has the full fight between Guiron and Gyaos? The version I have does not have it, it ends at the first "hit". Does the sf 50 pack have it? There is a stand-alone version that I can get. Does anyone know?

The cut version is the AIP TV print. You want the 1985 Sandy Frank version that has different credits and dubbing. This version was released on tape and replaced the AIP TV print in television syndication. There was also a widescreen version released a few years ago that was uncut that I read about in Video Watchdog.
The DVD from Retromedia is the AIP TV version, and my guess is that's what's on the 50 pack set ( although I can't say for sure ). No uncut version is available on DVD that I know of.

I've found really nice anamorphic widescreen uncut Japanese versions of all the Gamera movies at a store near me (in the US). They specialize in anime and manga but they have a shelf of kaiju movies that they keep well stocked.

The discs appear to be Chinese bootlegs of high-end Japanese releases. They are Region 0 and have English subtitles. The prints and transfer are really high-quality. These are probably the same things that show up on Ebay. If you know a place that sells anime, it might be worth asking them if they can get them.

I know I'm shouting, I like to shout.

The only uncut version I have ever seen is the old VHS from King Features Entertainment from 1988 w/ the series label graphic saying "Just For Kids." I think it is the Frank version. It is recorded, sadly in EP, but the jacket says it is LP.

This was the same series that released Zigra which I would still like to get ahold of, regardless of tape speed.

Get Japanese Monster Movies Collector's Edition Volume 2. This contains the Zigra Sandy Frank version on DVD along with other Gamera Movies.

I got my copy from a nifty little distributer called Popcorn Classics & was pleased to find the footage of Gaos being carved up like a sushi roll intact.
