...just wondering about the final stand-off in the room with mirrors. So far, I don't see anyone mentioning within their reviews any parallel with 'Enter the Dragon' (The Man with the Golden Gun also used this ploy, I think). When was this sort of device used in a finale of a film anyway?

Earliest example I know is The Lady from Shanghai.

It seems most people relate that scene to Enter the Dragon, but Lady from Shanghai is the earliest example I’m aware of.
