Anciens francs

It is funny to ear "la Marquise" saying : "Nous avons des chambres à 20 000 Francs".
In 1960, we changed our "anciens francs" (old francs) to "nouveaux francs" (new francs) 1 NF = 100 AF.
Like many old persons, la Marquise still speak in "anciens francs" nearly 10 years after and nobody seems to notice.

In the seventies it was still very much there and not only with old people. In my family, we spoke only in 'nouveaux francs' but a lot of my friends at school only used 'anciens francs'. Very confusing !
