Precursor to Wargames.

Is what this movie is even though some in the “Wargames” forums have called me crazy over my statement. Yes this is a tad different from the plot of “Wargames” but the general idea is the same, super defense computer goes off the rails & then threatens us all. Only in “Colossus” the reasons were different & you didn’t have a kid hacking into the computer playing a stupid game where he was unaware of what he was doing. Plus this one had 2 super computers & we all know why they went & acted the way they did after communication was stopped between them by our respective countries.

Never saw a interview or a article where the makers of “Wargames” ever stated that “The Forbin Project” was an influence on them which I have to believe it was but ok.

Jeez, Jeeps, stop bumping these movies, they are NOT THE SAME, except in the thread (pun) of nuclear war! WarGames will always be the better movie, as it combined videogames with Cold War fears in the youth of the time!

Oh, you call videogames stupid, do you? Another reason to ignore you!

Either you’re a troll or you must be 10 years old. Where did I say what I believed was the better movie? Where did I say video games were stupid? At least all of them? David played a stupid game with that computer video or not, I didn’t even specify “video games” at all. Not that I think all of them are stupid. If you dislike me bumping this thread or movie then it begs the question what are you doing here in the first place?

COMPUTER game then, which is basically the SAME THING. Damn, I should've said that in the first place!

Videogames are computer games, no argument about it.

YOU basically called a kid playing a computer game STUPID, so you have no leg to STAND ON!
