shareIt was in Italian, the U.S version is Dubbed into English
“Do not fear death... only the unlived life.” - Natalie Babbitt
All these Spaghetti Westerns were done in Italian, but some scenes involving non-Italian actors were done in (usually) English. Post-dubbing was done according to the destination market.

Would like to see a clean adition of this film. Because they Dubed the american actors with different actors. The addition I have I know its not Victor Brono's voice.
shareIf only I could find a copy of this with the German quality of film, (*very clean and high def!! Duh!), and in English - I'd be a happy camper - oh, and btw, those *were* the voices of Victor Buono, Lyle Standish, et al - it was just that the recordings of their voices were somehow pitched "higher" as if the production team had poor recording capability.
shareActually, most Italian films of the period - even the likes of Fellini (there's a reference to this in "Day for Night") - were shot silent and post-dubbed, even for the Italian version.
There were popular Italian stars whose real voices even the Italian audience never heard.
Both Bud Spencer and Terence Hill (that are italian) have always been dubbed in every movie they have done.
'What has been affirmed without proof can also be denied without proof.' (Euclid)
Terrance Hill was NOT dubbed in Mr Billion.
I have heard shows where he was speaking Italian and was subtitled and he spoke a few words of English as part of the show. His dubs are a good match for his natural voice. The just lack the accent, which was right for Mr. Billion. Since for Mr Billion he needed the accent, he got to do his own voice.!
It's a very good point and only now am I thinking how very weird that is.

By definition, all Euro, spaghetti westerners are shot without sound. On location they don't bring one microphone. As for what is spoken on the set, everyone spoke some English but lots of amusement and frustration talking among themselves. Very good post sound production on this one.
