Bad filming
Arghh!! Too bad for the extreme close-up filming of this, their were just way too many scenes where I had no idea what was going on. Lousy plot and poor picture quality by (Vintage Video). 3 out of 10

shareThe "dollar" videos are VHS transfers. Look on Amazon for a better DVD version.
shareI agree completely, agoreski.
This was the pits.
You are most likely watching a fullscreen pan and scan 1:33:1 reduction print, transferred to VHS from 16mm and then transferred from VHS to DVD & sold for a dollar, and you watched it at home on your TV, which may or may not be 16x9. If it's 4:3, you're in for a shock.
BOOT HILL was filmed on anamorphic 35mm in 2:35:1 Techniscope, and was meant to be seen projected onto a theater screen: How can you say that you've actually even seen the movie???
There is a new DVD transfer using original elements shown in 16x9 anamorphic. Try actually watching a movie the way it was meant to be projected before discrediting it.
I knew there must of been some screw up with the transfer simply because the aspect is so obviously wrong. It's a damn shame that this bad version is still getting printed.
