Moving and brilliant, don't you think?

A great film, does anyone agree? One of the most poetic films I have ever seen

yes just wonderful! no doubt one of the greatest directors ever! A true observer of people that go through love and live, that celebrate and suffer.
And this is one of his best attempts.

Yes indeed. A very beautiful and sad film. Piccoli and Romy are brilliant and the pictures are also great.

Could any hell be more horrible than now and real?

reply

Yes I do. I just saw it tonight and I was impressed ,through and through, by... everything! Brilliant still genuinely moving. Cast, light, pace, dialogues... Wow!

reply

Saw it on TV5 today and was totally engrossed by it.

I need time to "digest" it really.

But "tour de force" is appropriate for some of the scenes ( the people who have seen knows which scenes I'm referring to).

reply

YES! Watched it today- a keeper!

Disagree. Overrated. Lacks depth, a bit too superficial, slight amateur vibe, it just doesn't work.
