Director credit?

I've heard this rumor before...but search for "Chastity" here on IMDB and you'll see that now there's a listing for 2005. Apparently the film was remade by a director named Mark de Paolo - I'm assuming a relative (son perhaps?) of the original director, Alessio.

Someone commented on the update (which I would love to see) and said it was more "intelligent" then the original. I would do just about anything to get my hands on a copy of Sonny's original script for his movie. From what I understand his original was much more gritty and controversial...but then he saw his wife in those scenarios and freaked, so he watered it down quite a bit.

I think Cher is wonderful in this film...such a great, early glimpse of her even more tremendous acting skills that have blossomed since.
