clearly you don't "get" what war is. it's certainly not "action" all the time. war is a very insane event with tons of banal moments in between the action. do you only know "war" via video games and films made in the past 5 years?

It's not an action movie, and it's not a "war" movie. It's a movie about war—and also about art, chaos, civilization, philosophy, symbolism, Vietnam, and countless other things besides.
