So were the Carry On stars so typecast that Carry On films were their only security? Noone else wanted them?!

Isn't that like most/many jobs? I never see why famous people assume they deserve loads of money just because they are seen on TV. Unless they actually carry the show, are they worth anything special?

The same thing is happening again by the way, with The Birds of a Feather moaning they are no longer paid much, because of the sheer number of channels.
