funniest moment

does anyone have a favourite moment, there are sooooo many but i reckon the one that still makes me laugh the most is the part where harriett and peter are in the tent and you can just see the sillouette of them from outside.harriettes trying to get the bullet out of peters backside, then she says "ok,all done. Now get your clothes on and we:ll have a nice hot cup of tea" and slaps his backside.then mr muggins arrives and says "feeling better".classic stuff.love it

the scene in the cinema at the start is hilarious. right up there with the dinner scene in Up The Khyber and the laughing gas scene in Nurse

Best line in the whole film:

"What with 'er 'funny skin' and Joan's 'funny tummy' it's gonna be a bleedin' 'ilarious 'oliday"

Harriet and Peter cycling when they first see Mr Muggins

Harriet: Look what's in front of you....what a ghastly sight.
Peter: (looking at his wife's backside) You're telling me!

"Someone has been tampering with Hank's memories."

reply

ha ha yeah some of the dialogue between Harriet and Peter in this film really made me laugh.

Followed by the laugh

Mr Frampton, vis-a-vis your rump

He's gone for a P.

Mrs Fussey: Joan may think you're a gentleman but personally I've got sore misgivings.
Sid Boggle: You ought to put some talcum powder on them.

That's a great scene. From the start Peter Potter takes a dislike to Charlie Muggins. When Hawtrey's character says "My name is Muggins" Terry Scott's response is hilarious. What about when Muggins takes his coat off and Peter gets a face full of water. It's brilliant stuff!

Harriet: Mr Muggins ate all the bacon last night.

Peter: How surprising.

"Someone has been tampering with Hank's memories."

reply

Haha brilliant stuff. When they just ride off and just leave him laying in the field in sleeping bag!! Can't beat a carry on

reply

'don't rush me. i think you'll find it's worth waiting for'
'so's christmas but you won't find me stuffing your turkey!'
