Too Rude For PG

I was kinda shocked to see that most of the Carry On films have received PG ratings in the UK. I have seen much less in 12 films. although, I have noticed that older films received PG ratings when 12 didn't exist on video at the time but for the nudity, I guess it should have been rated 15. Most or all of Carry On film could be rated 12 now. what does everyone else think?

I don't think anyone else cares!

Airplane was 15 not that long after, that was pretty much innuendo and a bit of nudity, maybe more bad language.

I think it got away with PG becauss nudity was accidental and incidental (naturism). No bad language I can recall and the rest of it smutty innuendo.

I was thinking similar to be honest after it was on TV. I'm sure it's previously been cut for TV

Rubbish, 12 movies are far worse than the Carry Ons. They have some shocking violence. Most youngster's will not even watch a movie 20 years old,let alone 40.

Nudity? What nudity?

The Carry On movies were full of smutty innuendo, but very rarely was any of it actually realized.

They promised a lot, but delivered little, so I think a 12 rating is fine. Little kids would probably still love the movies, even today.
