Once upon A Time In The West followed by There Will Be Blood, what's next?

The end of the "wild" west followed by the rise of the oil baron.

Two cinematic masterpieces showing the shaping of American. What film would you place next?

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)?

A movie that shows the people's revolt against the nexus of political power and big business and the righteous power of the press.

That's the first that comes to mind. Although a movie that shows unions formation in USA would probably be better.🤔 can't think of one right off.

Good choice!

Different film stylistically but thematically yes that would be a good continuation...

Union-wise, doesn't James Wood become a Union leader in OUATIA? I was thinking of that but already got a Leone, plus I've never been 100% sure that film is a genuine "masterpiece".

Agreed. Its good movie but not a masterpiece. Haven't seen it in years, it's just too long. The drawn out scenes just seemed too drawn out.

A movie with Teddy Roosevelt.

One is in the works.

All the King’s Men
