One of the few movies I can remember very little about

I am not sure what to say about this film; i remember vaguely it was good; but it must have also been somewhat remarkable as I usually have a very good memory for films. This one I can vaguely remember a few scenes; like the comical situation of the train heist where the guy doesn't want to open the door. I remember the last frame when they go charging out. I remember vaguely that there was some kind of corny 1960's pop song music in the background of some cheesy romance scene; but that is about it.

"123go"

"Who are those guys?"

"YOU CANT SWIM?! The fall will kill ya!"

"Harvey came up with that?"

Newman had so many great lines.

One of the few movies that has a jazz score during a action scene. (Woody Allen also had a few)

But that's the sign of great film-making: a movie you saw 40 years ago and didn't think was very good has scenes you still remember today. Blowing up the train car, riding the dumb bike, jumping off the cliff, going out in a blaze of glory....

The pop song was "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" by B. J. Thomas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sySlY1XKlhM

Indeed, that's it in a nutshell.

Especially the corny pop song music.

But also:

"Who ARE those guys?"

and

"I can't swim."
"Hell, you crazy? The FALL will probably kill you!"
