shareThe full lenght version was finally released on DVD on June 2010. It looks and sounds like a VHS transfer, but is not dreadful, and it is widescreen. The soundtrack is original, with hard coded english subs. You can find it at least in the british Amazon.
shareOh my...some people have really hated the full length version from Arrow films. They have expected a DVD quality transfer, and one reviewer in Playcom was even angry that the soundtrack is not in English! I am quite happy to own this release, as there is no original version available elsewhere, in any form.
shareThe recent UK Arrow dvd is certainly the best commercial release I`ve seen anywhere and definitely buying if you`re a fan of the film,although it`s true that the picture is comparable to a sub-standard video!Give me original language and subtitles anyday over dubbing-the English dubbed print is appalling although it does have that Bernard Hermann soundtrack.The new UK dvd runs 158 minutes so still missing approx 17 mins according to IMD.Needs a full restoration.
