Big Budget Film Does Face Plant!!!

Man, this film ... in so many ways outstanding ... is GOD AWFUL in so many ways!!! In particular the script and many of the actors are horrid. More the cameras they used ... where they made by Bic or Matel? I know it was filmed in 69 but American films of the time looked much better. Finally the English dub is perhaps the worst I have ever seen. This is too bad as it is a very compelling story.

Lol no. It's one of the best war movies ever, I've seen many 'American' films from the 60's and they looked even worse. I've never seen the English dubs but I guess they could be terribile since 90% of them are; the only bad actor (and awful at that) was Yul Brynner pretending like he was a cowboy-hero while everyone else felt the weight of the war.
