Back in the day, I remember all those clowns who used to talk about doing this. I guess this movie is one source that gave them the idea. It's kind of like "I Love You, Alice B. Toklas" (which came out a year before "The Big Cube") giving people the idea to spike brownies with marijuana, then serve them to unsuspecting folks.

Our host thot it amusing to spike the tomato soup he'd made for our lunch with LSD. Without telling anyone.
After lunch, we piled in the car, heading down a narrow country road towards our destination. Someone noticed the long, long line of cars behind us...We were doing five mph!
Once we finally arrived, I circled the same tree all afternoon, thinking I was exploring the entire park.
