According to Masters of Cinema-website, they're gonna make Blu-Rays of most of their DVD releases. And multiregions too, so there you go. I don't know when it'll happen..

this is in my top 10 films of all time and I have no doubt criterion will eventually do a release of some sort, but it's a shame that this has never had any kind of real us release.
