Theme song from The Assassination Bureau

Does anybody know where I can obtain the theme song for this film. I have tried on many file share programs and have got two songs by Mike Sammes Singers but I want the song from the film. I believe its called 'Life is a precious thing'.

Thanks
Asa

The score was by ron grainer if that is any help

I'm interested in Ron Grainer's music of the late 1960s. There should be a TV theme out there somewhere which I think could be called 'Detective.' I can't find a series with that title in that time period. So perhaps that was just the name of the music.

I've just come back on here to say that I have found the 'Detective' TV series I had been looking for. Ron Grainer wrote the music for the third series which ran from September to November 1969. He is not credited on IMDb because the third series has been entirely lost. The music can be found on an old RCA Camden vinyl LP called 'Themes Like' by Ron Grainer. The music is on Side 2 Track 4 entitled 'Detective.'

I've also been looking for ages to obtain this song. I have very strong memories of it, but my efforts to find a copy have all failed to date. I have a Mike Sammes Singers compilation Music for Biscuits but the song (Life is a Precious Thing) does not appear on it.

Different tastes. While I enjoyed the movie, I thought the theme song was one of the hokiest things that I had ever heard (even more than the "Hoky Poky"), and that it had not held up well, but I am glad that there are people who do appreciate it. 😀
