Legrand's music

It says in the "trivia" section that the music was originally composed by Michel Legrand but his version was rejected.

I do like the current musical background to the film, I think it's very appropriate and distinctive enough.

But it's difficult for me to imagine Legrand's music being "bad", so I would really like to hear his version.
Does anyone know where could I find it?
