It's a shame that cameras weren't invented, till 1970. Because, if they had been available in 1969, Frederico could have shown a photo of Carla to the madam, and answered the question right away. Of course then, there would be no need for a movie. Ah well.

maybe he didn't want to know the truth in case he was wrong or in case he was right). Or maybe he believes that the madam wouldn't tell him the truth even if he showed her a pic.
