Absolute masterclass of acting!!
I love that people are still watching and talking about this movie. And I do agree, I loved that scene. Though it was (most likely) inaccurate, I thought it was a great scene and the "blood well spent" one of the best lines of the movie.

This is one of the best verbal combat scenes I've ever seen. The two approached each other in such an unemotional fashion and the progression of the argument was so explosive. You can really see Anne's arc from counting the days to her declaring Elizabeth's fate as the evolution of her character. Bujold was magnificent.
