There has been a ton on ink spilled about this film. Spielberg gives interviews about it. Short clips are shown in various documentaries, career retrospectives, etc. The guy named his production company after it. And yet...NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY SEE THIS FILM!!! Come on now. If you're going to talk about it, you have to make it publicly available.

Though I did manage to catch Amblin' while it was still available on YouTube, I can understand your frustation, Pat. It truly is one of the best short films ever made, with Spielberg employing techniques from Antonioni and making it all his own.
Joseph McBride's book on Spielberg talks about how Spielberg suppresses Amblin' because he dismisses it as "a 25-minute Pepsi commercial". But I think that assessment is wrong.
Also, it's the first Spielberg film with full-frontal female nudity.

Let me correct myself: it's the first Spielberg film with a topless female. She doesn't go entirely full-frontal unfortunately, but you see everything from the waste up.
