Why didn't Alice...
play herself in this movie??
anybody know?
My guess is that much of the subplots involving Alice (for example, her character sleeping around) was pure fiction, and she didn't want to play herself and make people think that's how she was in real life...well, lots of people probably think that anyway, but they would've thought it even more if she had played herself.

shareShe was divorcing Ray Brock at the time the movie was being made, so had no desire to relive on screen what she had gone through in real life, from what I have read. She and Ray have bit parts in the movie, but only Alice was credited. I think Ray Brock was the one up on the ladder hammering the insulation in, acc. to imdb.
