Sell.com has a DVDR for sale of the Turner Classic Movies broadcast. I recommend getting one of those (also on ioffer.com). The picture quality is excellent and the restored scenes are included. The original soundtrack was also restored in the version shown on TCM. It's nice!

You can watch it Tue. Apr. 22 3:30 AM eastern standard time on TCM.

It was just on TCM and I missed it! DAMN!

Go to Criterion and ask them to work on Satyajit Ray films, a good Kwaidan rerelease.

I ended up getting my copy from play.com through one of thier sellers.

It's a Dutch version (they seem to have a lot of 'out of stock' movies) but it's in English with Dutch subtitles - which can be turned off.

Get the restored version on a double DVD with A Matter of Life and Death (1946) from Sony at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IZNIV4/papas-20

The version of Age of Consent (1969) on this one is the latest restoration and it has restored the original score by Peter Sculthorpe. A studio version was made with a soundtrack by Stanley Myers. The original soundtrack by Peter Sculthorpe was the director's choice.

The DVD of Age of Consent includes:
* Introduction by Martin Scorsese
* Interview with Helen Mirren
* Interview with Ron and Valerie Taylor (underwater camera)
* Commentary track by Kent Jones
* Making Age of Consent - interviews with Kevin Powell (son of Michael and production manager), editor Anthony Buckley and composer Peter Sculthorpe
* Subtitles (English, French)

The DVD of A Matter of Life and Death includes:
* Introduction by Martin Scorsese
* Commentary track by Ian Christie
* Subtitles (English, French)
