hilarious special effects

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this movie and these things don't really harm it (in fact they kind of add to the charm), but just popped on here to see if anyone else had mentioned the special effects. So far two car crashes featuring obvious toy vehicles, a rear-projection mountain skiing sequence, and a trip to the horse races that looks like a simple studio set combined with stock footage of horses.
