This movie has never been on DVD or Video. Does anyone know why it hasn't been released? Is there not a demand for this movie or is there copyright issues that the studios haven't figured out? Or has the people or studio that own this movie gone bankrupt? I watched it the one time in the theatre in 1971 and remember liking it, but never have seen it run on TV.

the movie was on television in 1980 in Qld, Australia, but that is tha last place that I saw it and would LOVE to get a copy of it, if anyone has it on VHS, I could transfer it to DVD for them
shareI purchased a homemade dvd of 80 Steps to Jonah from someone at I-Offer. I think I paid $20.00. It's not great but not too bad. It took me back 35 years!

Oh my gosh! I am not the only one in the world that has seen this movie! My mom took me to Circus Circus in Tahoe or Reno when I was 10 I believe. While she was playing the slots I was in the kiddie section. When we got tired of playing the pinball games we could watch a movie and the movie was 80 Steps To Jonah! For me that was back in 1975. It really could have been earlier than that. All I know is this movie needs to be put on VHS or DVD. Has this been done yet? Does anyone know? If so, please let me know at [email protected].
shareI would like to see this movie available for purchase to the public. I didn't realize it was never came out in stores. I have the movie because I recorded it to a vhs tape when it was on television years ago and I was beginning to think I was the only person interested in the movie until I found this site.
I think if people could generate more interest in this forgotten film that some film industry would be interested in bringing it out. One way to generate interest is to let people see and hear some of the musical segments of the film....
