So they had all those rifles... (SPOILERS)

And between Welch and Brown and Reynolds and the other Indians, they had enough men to each arm themselves with a rifle and take out the General and his handful of men on horses.

Or use those same rifles to attack the General's ranch instead of the Indians still using bow and arrows and spears.


Of course if the did the first I mentioned, the movie will be over, wouldn't it?
