It seemed everyone was buzzing about Bronson, Parks had a hit single and album, and yet, it was canceled after one season.
Anyone recall what it was up against?
Was it Hawaii 5-0 per chance?

Yes, "Bronson" aired Wednesdays opposite the top 20 "Hawaii Five-0." The ratings weren't very good, and there were stories that Parks was difficult to work with. NBC probably didn't know how to market the series, and was more comfortable with another cop drama.
