What will it be about? Maybe a street scene and Elmo's World? That's probably about all they could fit into a half hour. Or they could just give the whole show to Elmo. They've been wanting to do that for years.

NO such luck, it's just been shortened to a 7 minute segment.
Basically, the format is this...
10 minutes of street scene (centering mainly on Elmo, of course. And even when it's about someone else Elmo HAS to be a secondary part)
The Letter Of Day (complete with an introductory song lead by Elmo)
1 or 2 skits about said letter.
A skit called 'Smart Cookies (ironically the only one NOT to have Elmo) where Cookie Monster is the head of a spy organization made up of sentenant cookies (not making that up) who try to foil the plans of a chef called 'The Crumb' who tries to ruin things he wasn't invited too. The Fortune Cookie finds three clues to stop The Crumb's latest chaos and Cookie has to try to put the together. Basically the point of this is to teach kinds to get all the facts and stop and think to solve problems, not to rush and jump to conclusions.
The Number Of The Day (introduced by The Count)
1 or 2 segments featuring said number
7 minutes of either Elmo's World or Elmo The Musical.
The End...and no more sponsers. No more 'Sesame Street has been brought to you today...) the just go from Elmo's World to The End song.
And that's all it is now.
