Best Saturday Morning Cartoon of All Time

Those original 25 episodes of Scooby Doo Where Are You are hands down the best Saturday morning cartoons of all time.

Not to say that there aren't some great other cartoons over the years, but for me, this will always be #1.

There were plenty of copy cats, knock-offs, and wannabes (even counting numerous Scooby Doo additions), but this was the best.

Al - Alicia
An - Andrew
Jo - Joseph
Be - Benjamin

Scooby Doo was inspired by The Hardy Boys. Yeah, I have fond memories waking up early to kick off my Saturday toon feet with Scooby.

Bruce Lee was real. Batman was never real.

Dobie Gillis, too.

I'm probably much older than the rest of you, so I remember more Saturday morning shows than you do.
And I couldn't ACTUALLY say that this show is the best ever.

But it isn't bad.
Unfortunately, it spawned a number if inferior shows featuring the same theme: nosy teenagers and their "funny" pets getting involved in mysteries and crime solving.
Examples:
JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS
THE FUNKY PHANTOM
INCH HIGH, PRIVATE EYE
among others.

Once H/B latched on to a good thing, they bled it to death.

The best cartoon ever is Return to the Planet of the Apes
