RIP Terry Becker, actor and producer

I heard that Terry Becker passed away on December 30 of last year. He had appeared at a 50th Anniversary Celebration of "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" in Los Angeles in November.

Terry Becker's Chief Sharkey was my favorite character on the show. Sharkey was a tuff, but good hearted 'kid from Brooklyn' who added a 'down-to-earth' and occasional light-hearted touch to the sometimes grim and tense nature of the storylines.

So sad....what a great career Terry Becker had in front of and behind the camera. I never knew he was an associate producer for "Room 222" for example. And he also directed some episodes of M*A*S*H. He was also a partner with Carroll O'Connor on his last series, "Archie Bunker's Place".

What a talent....may Terry Rest in Peace.
