Oh no, not again! Will this be an American 'reboot'? If Reeves and Mortimer made a hash of it, I don't hold out much hope!

Bad idea - you can never go back. The charm of the original is the cardboard sets, the beautiful period location shots of London, the great scripts and the performances of the leads, none of which can be replicated now. R&H(D) was totally unironic and straight faced - any remake would be smirking and knowing, with references to iPods and hoodies dragged in apropos of nothing. I've never forgiven Reeves and Mortimer, so I have no interest in any further desecration.

cardboard sets? the set designs are as good as anything made today ! the problem with the last remake was purely the leads the scipts and making jeff a loser if they can sought that out it might be ok!

The BBC remake only lasted 2 series, I doubt this would be rebooted anytime soon.
