William Windom won an EMMY for best actor in a comedy and...they cancelled it anyway. Windom went on tour after the TV show folded doing a one man show of Thurber's works. How I would have LOVED to have seen that.

I wonder if there's any record of Windom's one-man show? Radio interview, excerpts, or tapes, or scripts?

If I still lived in New York City, I would go to the Museum of Broadcasting - they set up viewing for you of almost anything to be had.

I saw it when it played in Atlanta; it was a birthday gift to myself. Had a great time. I'd have to dig out my journal to see what he read, but I know one of the pieces was "Memorial."
