PBS cuts?

Rewatching the show on Netflix, I'm amazed how much I didn't remember. Some I'm sure is just faulty memory on my part, but I think too there must have been some significant cuts to the program when it aired on PBS. I know they got in a dispute with ABC over the fourth season, but does anyone have any leads on what edits were made to the first three seasons on PBS?

PBS butchers most of the British tv they show ("Downton Abbey" and many Jane Austen adaptations being notorious examples). The best thing to do is to find them on unedited DVD or Blu Ray.
