Did this series decline in quality?

I only regularly watched MEDICAL CENTER in syndication years ago. I've never seen the entire series. I do remember a recycled plot in one episode. I doubt you'd notice it when the show was originally airing but in syndication, the similar episodes aired days apart.

I LOVE season one!!! I've seen a few in season 2 & it's equally as good. What about as the series went on? Was there a drop off? I admit I'm never crazy about Dr Gannon's haircut with the chops in some episodes but what about the quality otherwise?

Quality still good thru all 5 released seasons.

I watched a bit of season 4 & the lack of the Dr Lochner character hurts a bit.

I watched all seven seasons of Medical Center and never saw a decrease in quality as I have in other television series. Good question!
